Bio

Andrzej Wojciechowski is a successful and experienced cinematographer. He was the director of photography of the critically acclaimed film, WALPURGIS NIGHT, directed by Marcin Bortkiewicz, as well as Polish blockbuster films directed by Kinga Dębska, e.g. PLAN B and THESE DAUGHTERS OF MINE.

His latest project, LAMPO. THE TRAVELING DOG (prod. Canal+ Poland) was one of the biggest box office hits of 2023 in Poland, and won the Golden Lion Cub Award at Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.

In 2018, he shot two documentaries – Tomasz Drozdowicz’s CONCERTO FOR TWO, which won the 2018 Warsaw Film Festival Audience Award in the Documentary Section and the VILLAGE OF SWIMMING COWS directed by Katarzyna Trzaska.

In the past, Andrzej has collaborated with director Katarzyna Klimkiewicz on two projects. He was the director of photography on Katarzyna’s short film HANOI – WARSAW, which was awarded Best Short by the European Film Academy in 2010 and on her feature debut FLYING BLIND starring Helen McCrory.
