Bio

Director of Photography for numerous feature films, TV series, and commercials. He is a member of the Polish Society of Cinematographers and a graduate of the prestigious Lodz Film School.

His recent project KABUL will premiere at Series Mania 2025. The series, directed by Kasia Adamik and Olga Chajdas, is produced by 24 25 Films and Cinétévé for France Télévisions. In 2023, he served as co-DOP on Olga Chajdas’ feature film IMAGO, which won the prestigious Silver Lion at the 48th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.

Mateusz’s credits include A WORLD DIVIDED as Director of Photography. The TV series was nominated for the Grimme Award. He also worked on 1983, the first Polish original TV series for Netflix, directed by Agnieszka Holland, Olga Chajdas, Kasia Adamik, and Agnieszka Smoczyńska.

Additionally, he shot the TV series CHYŁKA, nominated for a Polish Film Award “Orły” in 2020 and available worldwide on Max. He collaborated with DP Michał Englert on WHEN THE TREES FALL, a Ukrainian-Polish-Macedonian production that premiered in the Berlinale Panorama in 2018.
