Bio
Director of Photography for numerous features, TV series and commercials. Member of the Polish Society of Cinematographers.
Recently he worked as co-dop with Tomasz Naumiuk PSC on Olga Chajdas’ feature IMAGO. The film was awarded with Silver Bears at 48th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. In 2023 he shot TV series DIE SPALTUNG DER WELT 1939 – 1956 directed by Olga Chajdas and Frank Devos. This German-Luxebourg-Belgian-Polish co-production is in post-production.
Mateusz credits include 1983, first Polish original TV series for Netflix, directed by Agnieszka Holland, Olga Chajdas, Kasia Adamik and Agnieszka Smoczyńska, as well as collaboration with DP Michał Englert on the Ukrainian-Polish-Macedonian production WHEN THE TREES FALL (Koly Padayut Dereva) premiered at Berlinale Panorama in 2018.
Active on the commercial market in Poland and internationally. Mateusz has worked on campaigns for: Trivago, Pepsi, Plus, Danone and Wawel, just to name a few.
