Filip Syczyński

Bio

Filip Syczyński is a director and screenwriter. Filip’s strong cinematic approach to storytelling creates work that is visually striking and emotionally engaging.

He was fortunate enough to work with directors such as David Lynch and Adrian McDowall. His movies have been screened at world renowned film festivals, such as Sundance and Cannes. He was a showrunner for Canal+’s TV series A SMALL DEATH directed by Juliusz Machulski, which premiered in 2019.

Commercially he worked for clients such as PlayStation, OLX and Bose. His commercial for TATA Communications won the top prize at the MOFILM New York contest and became the official global commercial of the brand.

Filip is working on his debut film, THE GREAT MATCH, based on his true story, which received the Eurimages Co-production Development Award at the Baltic Event Co-production market in Tallinn.
