Maks Michorczyk

Bio

Director and screenwriter, a graduate of Film and Television Directing at the Warsaw Film School. His short films have been recognised at festivals in Poland and abroad: OPAŁ (3rd Prize at the Barć Film Festival in Barcin, 2022) and JADZIA (Special Mention for Karolina Adamczyk’s leading performance at the KinoGram International Film Festival). He was a finalist in the screenplay competition at the Script Fiesta festival (edition 9½) with his script PRASKIE ZŁOTO, and a semifinalist in the 2nd edition of the Wyobraź Sobie competition. He is a winner of the feature-film screenplay competition organised by the Polish Film Institute (PISF), for ASTERIA.

He is currently in pre-production on his feature debut LACRIMOSA (prod. Wonder Films), supported by the Polish Film Institute.
