Agata K. Koschmieder

Bio

Agata Koschmieder is a Polish screenwriter working across feature films and premium television. Her work bridges auteur cinema and mainstream storytelling, combining emotionally driven narratives with strong commercial potential.

Her latest feature, Tell Me What You Feel, directed by Łukasz Ronduda and co-written by Agata, celebrated its world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2026. Previously, she wrote the screenplay for the Polish adaptation of the French box-office hit Rolling to You.

Agata developed the original idea for the Netflix Original series Sexify and co-created the show’s concept. The first season became a global hit, reaching Netflix’s Top 10 charts in numerous countries and establishing the series as one of Poland’s most successful international television exports.

She is currently developing the coming-of-age feature Daddy Cool. A two-time recipient of the Polish Film Institute (PISF) Screenwriting Scholarship, she has also received development funding through the prestigious Creative Europe MEDIA Mini Slate Development programme for one of her original projects.

A graduate of the Directing Department at the Polish National Film School in Łódź, Agata has been selected for some of Europe’s leading industry programmes for emerging screenwriters, including Midpoint TV Launch, Canal+ Series Lab, Series Mania Writers Campus and In Development Drama Writers’ Pitch Forum in Cannes. She was also named one of six “Talents to Watch” by the Hot Contenders panel at the Berlinale Series Market.
