Justyna Bilik

Bio

Screenwriter and script consultant, member of the Polish Filmmakers Association and the Polish Screenwriters Guild. A graduate of the Film School in Łódź and various international workshops such as Torino Film Lab, Midpoint, Sources 2 Compact, and Atelier Scenariuszowe.

In 2023, she was nominated for the Norwegian Amanda Award for Best Original Screenplay for the film NORWEGIAN DREAM (dir. Leiv Igor Devold). In the same year, she was a finalist in the Script Pro competition with the script for the feature film BELLA, SHALOM.

Currently, she is collaborating with Norwegian screenwriter Hamza Kader and director Leiv Igor Devold on his next film PARS PRO TOTO which received development grant support from the Norwegian Film Institute. Additionally, she works as a script consultant with Slovak director Gregor Valentovic.

Furthermore, she has worked as a co-author of dramaturgy for productions directed by Marcin Wierzchowski: GAZ! at the Aleksander Fredro Theatre in Gniezno and PIĘKNA ZOŚKA at the Wybrzeże Theatre in Gdańsk.
