Sylwester Jakimow

Bio

Sylwester Jakimow is a TV series and feature director. After his debut film JAKOŚ TO BĘDZIE (Somehow It Will)  and 8 RZECZY, KTÓRYCH NIE WIECIE O FACETACH (8 Things You Don’t Know About Men), available on Netflix, Sylwester is working on his third film.

His short film debut AMIGOS FOREVER won the Special Jury Award at the Gdynia Film Festival and in 2011 it was Awarded the Best Short Film at the Koszalin Debut Film Festival in the “The Young and Cinema” category.

Sylwester has worked as a 1st and 2nd assistant director on many feature and documentary films, including Agnieszka Smoczyńska award-winning film, THE LURE.
