Ewa Mroczkowska

Production designer for cinema, theatre, and commercials. Her latest project as set decorator THE GIRL WITH THE NEEDLE (dir. Magnus von Horn) was qualified to the main competition of 2024 Cannes Film Festival.

BREAD AND SALT (dir. Damian Kocur), with her production design, was recognized with the Special Jury Award at the Venice International Film Festival. Another recent Polish production with her participation – ELEPHANT (dir. Kamil Krawczycki) – received the Best Film Award in the Microbudget Film Competition at the Polish Film Festival.

On the international field, she worked on the Pakistani blockbuster TEEFA IN TROUBLE (dir. Ahsan Rahim), as well as the German horror film OLD PEOPLE for Netflix (this time as a set designer). Her latest film, the Israeli-Polish co-production DELEGATION (dir. Asaf Saban), premiered at Berlinale 2023 in the Generation 14plus section. For WOMAN OF… (dir. Michał Englert, Małgorzata Szumowska), Ewa served as the set decorator.

In the theatre world, she collaborated with Teatr Ludowy in Krakow, Teatr im. Ludwika Solskiego in Tarnów, Teatr im. Stefana Jaracza in Łódź, and Teatr Śląski im. Stanisława Wyspiańskiego in Katowice.
