Earlier Paweł worked on short films, including SUBMISSION (dir. Michał Ciechomski), which was nominated for the Golden Tadpole at the Camerimage 2020 festival; MOTHER DEAR (dir. Zuzanna Sorówka), and NIE MOJA BAJKA (dir. Zuzanna Karpińska), for which he received a nomination for the Jan Machulski Polish Independent Cinema Awards in the category Best Cinematography.
Paweł worked with Zuzia Sorówka on a competition film for Papaya Young Directors 2021 in the category Branded Stories. Their project for Durex, FREEDOM ON OUR OWN TERMS, won a special award.
