SHORT BIO

Mateusz Wichłacz is a director of photography for full-length film features, TV series, and commercials. Recently he worked on CHYŁKA, a TV series, which is nominated for Polish Film Award Orły 2020.

His DP credits include 1983, the first Polish TV series for Netflix Originals directed by Agnieszka Holland, Olga Chajdas, Kasia Adamik and Agnieszka Smoczyńska. He also collaborated with DP Michał Englert on the Ukrainian-Polish-Macedonian production WHEN THE TREES FALL, which premiered at Berlinale Panorama section in 2018.

Mateusz is active on the commercial market in Poland and internationally. Mateusz has worked on campaigns for world renowned brands such as,Trivago, Pepsi, Plus, Danone and Wawel, just to name a few.
