Łukasz Grzegorzek is a director and a former tennis player. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw.
Łukasz’s debut feature, KAMPER, premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2016, and won the Discovery Award at London’s Raindance festival. His next work, A COACH'S DAUGHTER, opened the New Horizons festival in Wrocław in 2018. That same year it also won the audience award at the Cinergia European Cinema Forum and was recognized as the best youth film at the Cottbus Film Festival.
In 2021 Łukasz once again opened New Horizons, this time with the film MY WONDERFUL LIFE, which is nominated for Golden Lions in the main competition of this year’s 46th FPFF in Gdynia. The cinema premiere is planned for autumn of this year.
In addition to narrative films, Łukasz also directs music videos and advertisements. He’s worked with the Polish network TVN on many image spots, and in the world of music with Ralph Kamiński, Pezet, Czarny HIFI and Piotr Emade Waglewski.
