Anatastazja Davis



Anastazja started her writing career as a Los Angeles based journalist. She has since focused on writing or rewriting feature films for the past 3 years on indie world.

Anastazja is an optioned writer that has been hired by companies such as Arsenal Pictures, Gremi Film, and Cineville, among others. She wrote and directed a feature that shot in late 2014. It is currently in the final stages of post, with release slated for Spring 2016. Recently, Anastazja been hired to rewrite or write three projects: a remake of a successful Belgian film in co-production with WB Europe; FFC, which is currently in post-production (Tadross Pictures/Cineville); and an untitled Brooklyn/mob project. Future projects include a sequel to FFC, a historical action pilot based on a true story, and a rewrite of a script for a known American character actor.

ScreenwritingU named her one of its most recommended screenwriters of 2014, and Anastazja recently won runner up for TOAST: and placed top ten in the Drama Category of ScreenCraft's Pilot Launch contest. A native of Poland, she’s been living in Los Angeles since she was 8, and credits the English language with bringing out her love of writing.

Anastazja graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a Black Studies BA.
